Operations Intern
Part-Time | Santa Cruz, CA (In-Person Only)
Role Overview
We are seeking an Operations Intern to support day-to-day operations at our Santa Cruz headquarters. You’ll help keep our refill system running smoothly by managing inventory, fulfilling soap orders, cleaning reusable pouches, and assisting with documentation and errands. This is a hands-on role perfect for a college student or recent grad who wants to gain real experience in sustainable operations and circular logistics.

What You’ll Do

Manage and track inventory of liquid & cream products and reusable intermediate bulk containers

Follow strict standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality and safety across all operations

Utilize our automated filling equipment to prepare soap and detergent orders for customers

Clean, sanitize, and restock reusable refill pouches according to company protocols

Assist with packaging, labeling, and quality control of shipments

Organize storage shelves and materials for production and service teams

Maintain internal documentation (SOPs, checklists, restocking logs)

Run local errands (hardware store, shipping depot, vendor pickups)

Support with light workshop or assembly tasks as needed

Help prepare materials for new site installations and restocks

Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following sustainability and safety practices provided by Wonderfil

​Required Skills & Experience

Must live in Santa Cruz County and be available to work 100% in-person at our Westside Santa Cruz office

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for local deliveries and errands)

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Attention to detail and consistency in repetitive tasks

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

Comfortable working in a workshop or warehouse environment

Proficiency with Google Sheets and general spreadsheet literacy

Interest in sustainability, reuse systems, or zero-waste operations
